Lisa Hays, Esq. is a partner with Hays & Associates, LLC. Ms. Hays has over 30 years of legislative experience in Indiana. Ms. Hays has served as governmental affairs counsel to multinational and Indiana corporations since 1987. She also served as a legislative aide to state legislators in the Indiana State Senate and House of Representatives. Ms. Hays was a registered lobbyist for the Indiana Association of Cities & Towns, representing local officials before the Indiana General Assembly. Prior to forming Hays & Associates, LLC, Ms. Hays was owner of Hays Murray Group, LLC, and a partner with Krieg DeVault Alexandar & Capehart, serving as chair of Krieg DeVault’s Governmental Affairs Practice Group. Ms. Hays is a founding member of the Indiana Democratic Women’s Political Action Committee and former Trustee of the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Board.
In Memory of J. Jeff Hays 1929-2008
J. Jeff Hays was Senior Advisor with Hays & Associates, LLC. Mr. Hays served 24 years in the Indiana General Assembly, from 1970 to 1996, as a State Representative from Evansville, Indiana. As Chairman of the House Commerce Committee, Mr. Hays held hearings on numerous utility and economic development issues. Additionally, Mr. Hays was a member of the House Ways and Means Committee that developed major tax and fiscal legislation for the State of Indiana. In 1975, Mr. Hays won the Democratic primary and was nominated as the Democratic candidate for Mayor of Evansville. While serving in the Korean War, Mr. Hays was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Hays received his B.S in Marketing from the University of Evansville, with a minor in Journalism.
